Wheels For Conner

Connor is a happy 6 year old boy, diagnosed with spina bifida and hydrocephalus. Connor was born a month early and was faced with many challenges. He loves to dance, music, and ball of any kind. Connor plays baseball with the Miracle League and plays wheelchair basketball with a local adaptive sports association. We are trying to raise money for a down payment on a wheelchair accessible van. The older Connor gets the harder it is to lift him and his wheelchair into the car. We appreciate any and all help!

Please contact the Pro Shop for more information.

Price: Members - $20; Guests - $40

  • Includes Hidden Trails' gourmet hot dog buffet following play.
  • Green beer special – $2 draws from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

4-person team

Everyone tees off, selects the best shot, then everybody plays his/her own ball until holed. The best two scores are taken on each hole.

Green Shirt or Pants to Advance

Those who wear green pants or shirts (and meet dress code), shall tee off on forward tees (1 set forward, ex. Blue to White, etc.). Ladies will have special advanced tees 15 yards closer.

Luck of the Irish Ball

Each team will be given a ball with a green clover. For each hole, one person in the group must use that ball from tee to green. That same ball will travel from person to person and rotate every hole. So you will play with that ball every four holes. If you return with that ball after 18 holes, you will get to subtract four strokes from your total round (if it goes OB or in the creek it is gone, you cannot retrieve it).

Flighted depending on number of participants. Pay out in gift certificates.

Raffle

We will hold a raffle for a wedge of your choice – Titleist, Callaway, TaylorMade, or Cleveland. $1 each ticket. Buy as many as you wish. Proceeds, if any, will go to Junior Golf.

Jackpot

$10 per Ticket. Hit the green and go into the pot. A winner will be drawn after the round to receive 75% of the funds in Pro Shop credit. 25% goes to closest to the pin in pro shop credit.

Come back Sunday and catch the big game at your club!

Special Events / Other Talents Contest

On holes #3 and #10, we have special games of skill opportunities lined up before each group tees off. Each individual player that successfully “completes” or “converts” the pass or kick event may hit his/her tee-shot from the designated FORWARD tees. Each player only gets one attempt at the pass or kick and your playing opponents will have the final say-so on the success of your “attempt.” Please move along quickly so that we don’t slow the pace of play.

MEN AND SENIORS MOVE TO LADIES TEE.
LADIES MOVE TO THE DESIGNATED FORWARD TEES.

HOLE #3:  From behind the line of scrimmage (spray painted) each player has one chance to hit the wide open receiver just a few yards away. No defensive pressure may be applied by the opposing team. Each player that throws the ball into the open pouch (and keeps it in there) may then hit his tee-shot from the designated FORWARD tees. Only the players that throw the “completion” move up, not the entire team and not a designated player subbing for another hack that made a lucky throw. That player’s ball is then a playable option for the team.

MEN AND SENIOR MOVE TO LADIES TEE.
LADIES MOVE TO THE DESIGNATED FORWARD TEES.

HOLE #10:  From the designated spray painted “spot”, each player may attempt to kick a field goal through the goal posts. Each player only gets one attempt and the opposing team will determine if the kick was good or not.  Again, pressure to block the kick will not be allowed by your opponents and any teeth knocked loose on a rusher will not be covered by club insurance. The successful kicker(s) may then hit his/her tee-shot from the designated FORWARD tees, not the entire team and not a sub-in. That player’s ball may be used if the team wants to play it.

MEN AND SENIOR MOVE TO LADIES TEE.
LADIES MOVE TO THE DESIGNATED FORWARD TEES.

Please return the footballs to the spray painted area when you leave the tee box so that the next group will not have to track down your wayward efforts!

Closest to the Pin #12 for a square (Chase not eligible.)
